Transport packaging sleeves
are an example of a material
requiring exceptional strength
and rigídity. Talcum-reinforced
TRIPLEX panels with talcum contents
up to 20% are ideal for such
applications. When high impact
resistance is required as opposed
to rigidity, the standard version
without talcum reinforcement
is preferred.
TRIPLEX panels in their standard
formulation have excellent UV
resistance (up to 2 years) under
normal light exposure. Special
versions are available for use
under continuous outdoor wheathering
with enhanced UV resistance
(up to 5 years).
Conductive packaging and materials
are a "must" for many electronic
components and systems. TRIPLEX
panels are available in conductive
verions with surface resistances
ranging from 104
to 108
Ohms. Due to the special additives
used, these versions are available
only in colour black.
The standard colour of TRIPLEX
panels is grey (apprx. RAL 7001).
Any other colour can be provided
as desired – including different
inner and outer colours (e.g.
black on the inside and blue
on the outside).
